The LS 6481 DX is our flagship in wall system designed to optimize home theater and stereo. Its performance places it in a rare echelon of in wall speakers that rival or surpass the sound of the best out of wall speakers. In this case Size Matters as large Line Source arrays generate greater effciency and truer life-like image to seating and viewing positions. Conventional formats simply do not have the far field radiated energy. LS 6481 DX features 8 tweeters and 4 -6" mid woofers, mounted as a vertical array. A ¾” thick MDF enclosure, heavily braced for maximum rigidity and efficiency, provides the optimum wave launch and internal acoustic environment. Proprietary cast Quiet Cone™ wool /carbon woofers, and Vifa 1”dome tweeters provide outstanding performance with excellent dynamics and power bandwidth. A minimum phase HQ crossover includes German made Mundorf Supreme™ capacitors and HQ air cored inductors. For inwall mounting, an aluminum frame is bolted on and the base is removed.
